2. Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes!  BarCodeScannersDiscount.com has been Online Merchant since 2002 and take's every precaution to make your shopping experience safe. We work very hard to make your transactions secure. Our Web-site is built and hosted by Yahoo!™ Store which utilizes industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encrytion. Similarly, as always you can call one of our Account Representatives to place your order, by calling us toll free at 1-866-204-1382. All account information submitted to us is kept confidential and secure.

3. Do I have to pay state sales tax?
All orders shipped into New York State are subject to NY Sales Tax. Sales tax will only apply to residents of New York. We do not collect sales taxes for any other state.

4. How can I pay for my order?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept checks and money orders. Orders paid by check will usually not be processed until the funds have been verified. 5. How much will my shipping charges be?
Domestic Shipping Free FedEx/UPS Ground Shipping for Online Orders within the continental United States of America. In addition, we offer a host of expedited shipping options for you to select from. The total cost of goods, shipping charges (if applicable) and sales taxes (New York residents) are clearly displayed before you place your order.
International Shipping is available online through our webstore. Online shipping options include UPS Worldwide Express and UPS Worldwide Expedited.

Offline International Shipping is provided through DHL, FedEx, Purolator, United States Postal Service, and UPS. All domestic and international shipping is shipped prepaid. In addition, we reserve the right to ship freight collect and best method at our discretion. For an offline International Shipping rate quote please contact us via e-Mail at customercare@barcodescannersdiscount.com. Be sure to include the quantity, part number, shipping method (i.e. no. of days required) and your shipping address.

BarCodeScannersDiscout.com is not responsible for destination countries duties/taxes. Please note, some countries require the customers "tax id number" to clear customs. Hence, you may be requested to furnish your tax id number to assist us in processing your international shipment through customs.

*All Domestic/International Orders are vigorously screened to prevent fraud.

6. What if I need to return my order?
Hardware - 30 day return policy. Print heads are non-returnable.
Software - 30 days from the date of invoice. Software must not be opened. Software Box must still be shrink wrapped from the factory.
Software Demos are avialable for you to, "try before you buy". Please request a demo copy for your review to make sure the software meets your specifications.
Media - All bar code labels, bar code ribbons, and plastic card printer supplies are non-returnable. Evaluation labels and ribbons are avialable for most printers for you to "evaluate" before you purchase. Please request sample media to make sure the media meets your specifications.

You may return an item in its original condition for a refund or credit within 30 days of receipt. Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error. A restocking fee of $25 dollars will be assessed on orders over $250 dollars, and a $50 dollar fee for orders over $500 dollars. All returns must be returned in their original packaging with all of the manuals and accessories included with the product in like "new" condition. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you.

Please call us at (866) 204-1382 to get a Return Material Authorization Number (RMA#) to process your return. Please mark the RMA number on the outside label of the box, this will insure that you receive credit for your return.  For your protection, we suggest using UPS, FedEx, or insured Parcel Post for shipping returns.   


BarCodeScannersDiscount.com RMA POLICY
1. A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns.
2. An RMA number is valid for 30 days.
3. The RMA number must be visible on all returns. Do not write on the original product box!
4. BarCodeScannersDiscount.com does not accept returns of Print heads, Bar Code Media, Software or ServiceContracts.
5. Misships must be claimed within 15 days of BarCodeScannersDiscount.com invoice date.
6. Product will be returned to customer under the following circumstances:
a. If a product is returned missing any components sent with the original order.
b. If the condition of the returned product is in any way misrepresented.
c. If the received product is damaged in any way.
d. If there is not a valid and visible RMA number.
e. If a product returned on a DOA is tested as full functioning product.
f. If product is received over 30 days after the date the RMA number is issued.

7. What if you don't have all of the items in stock?
If an item you ordered is out of stock, it will be back-ordered automatically (domestic orders only). For international orders, we will e-mail you of the missing items to confirm the balance of your order.

9. How do I track my order?
All tracking numbers and Invoices are emailed.
For Online Orders: UPS, FedEx, USPS and Purolator tracking numbers will be posted for your review. LTL courier tracking numbers are emailed.

10. Do you accept Purchase Orders from local, state, and federal municipalities?
Yes! We accept Purchase Orders from local, state, and federal governments. Similarly, we accept purchase orders from non profit organizations. See the link below for more info on addressing your Purchase Order(s)

16. Do you ship Internationally?

Yes. We ship to any country that FedEx, UPS, DHL, or the Untied States Postal Service offers service. Based on a comparison of rates and service featurs (tracking and insurance) will determine which carrier is selected. Please Note: some priority shipping services may not be available for your country (e.g. FedEx International Priority).

17. What are RoHS compliant products?
The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment". This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. The RoHS Directive and the UK RoHS regulations came into force on 1 July 2006.

18. What if an order is refused? Refused Orders are subject to a $25 dollar refusal/restocking charge.
